Have you seen the i7-3960x?

You have probably heard of the glorious Intel Core i7-2600K namedSandyBridge. The Chip was super cheap and single handedly leveled the competition for AMP processors. Well, after that you see that, you would think what could be better than theSandyBridgerelease on 2011. What about the Sandy Bridge-E?

Sandy Bridge-E is the Intel newest wunderkind. This chip meant to bump up the CPU to extreme levels of performance. Basically, Sandy Bridge-E chip take those efficiently fast cores found in a standardSandyBridgeand moves them to a bigger chip, in addiction two more cores in the highest-end Core 17-3960X chip are added.

The only issue so far is that most of the games are not core based but Video card based. For instance, why would you opt to play in a PC instead a console. Here is the answer: if your video card is anything bigger than the G-force-550-ti, you should play in a PC, other wise there is not really a big difference to play in a console. However for some of the new games released out there such as Skyrim, CPU have been very important to bust the game experience. There is where the i7-3960x comes in.

Give it a try.
